Meet the next India Superstar : UMRAN MALIK

Umran Malik born on November 22,1992 an Indian cricketer for Jammu & Kashmir on his Twenty20 debut on January 18, 2021. Malik was named a short-term COVID-19 pandemic replacement for T. Natarajan by the Sunrisers Hyberabad his present team. Malik’s rise has been straight out of a Hollywood script.

He was selected as one of the three net bowlers for the 2012 IPL. He made out his debut in the IPL, against Kolkata Knight Riders during the 49th match of the 2021 Indian Premier League. He gained so much attention during the match between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Royal Challengers Bangalore as a result of his past bowling. India’s team named him as a net bowler for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Break out performance, the 22 year old took character figures of 5/25 in his four overs and nearly single-handed dragged his to victory. He was becoming the first fast bowler to claim a five-wicket haul in this season. Malik is the second highest wicket taker in the IPL now with 15 at an average of 15.93.

Malik’s talent is undeniable and after watching his performance, Kevin Pietersen was engaging he be included in the Test side.

Back to September 2021 and the most ardent fan of Indian cricket would have been hard pressed to pick Umran Malik out of a line-up. SRH was so impressed with his abilities to bowl fast, they maintained him ahead of last player auction for Rs 4 Crore. In this season, Umran been at his fastest best.

Uman Malik’s father said that He will make the whole country proud someday. His father hopes to see his son play for India in a World Cup.
