Jofra Archer return to UK for Rehabilitation, New members for England ODI series has been announced

During the five- match T20I series, Jofra Archer elbow has been worsened over the course. It had been hard for him to maintain his performance level. Jofra Archer decided to return to UK for further management and investigation of his right elbow injury. England head coach Chris Silverwood remarks Archer unfit to join the upcoming three-match ODI series against India. Jofra Archer has been ruled out from the initial phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Silverwood’s said on Sunday, that it was a joint decision has been made as Archer himself wanted to put England first. All parties agreed on it . Archer needed some time to get fit. It’s the best chance for him to be succesfull for England because his been very keen about it. He also wanted to be there at the upcoming T20 World Cup.

 ”It was not a difficult decision, it was a sensible decision," Silverwood told UK Media on Sunday.

England medical team will assess the player and, along with Jofra, develop a treatment plan and a return-to-play schedule in due time.

Siverwood said that it absolutely was a delightful decision.It only show how passionate Jofra is for playing for England and how much he enjoy playing. They respect that, they like having him around. and whatever they can to help him, they will do.

But somehow, Archer’s absence from the start of this years IPL 2021 will be a big loss for Rajasthan Royals(Rr). He’s fast bowler is essential to the team’s ambition .

Eoion Morgan will still be the team Captain for England and he have Ben Strokes, Jason Roy and Adil Rashid to rely on. ODI series starts on MArch 23, 2021, second and third will be on March 26 and March 28 hosted at MCA Staddium in Pune.

Eoin Morgan (captain), Moeen Ali, Jonathan Bairstow, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Liam Livingstone, Matt Parkinson, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, Mark Wood.
