
Manika Batra was born in June 15, 1995 is an Indian table tennis player. She is the youngest among the three children. She lives in Delhi,India at the age of four she used to play table tennis. Her siblings her elder brother Sahil and her sister Anchal that was interesting in both playing table tennis. When she was at the age of 16 she declined scholarship to train, She studied and a year before dropping out to from her school and to focus and concentrate on table tennis.
She represent the country of India in 2008 when she was 13 years old and she was playing in the tournament. During her teenager, Manika Batra declined the offers in modelling, focus and make a career in sport of table tennis.
The Indian table tennis player continue to build her game and win 3 gold medals in the Commonwealth Games by defeating Singapore women team with the score of 3-1 held on Gold coast, Australia. Manika Batra wins the silver medal in Chile Open in year 2011 . Batra won also three gold medals at the 2016 South Asian Games win in women’s double event.
She is also led the Indian Women’s Team to win gold medal in the final against four time gold medalists and also the defending champions Singapore in the Commonwealth Games in 2018.
Batra also reached the third round of the Women’s Single Event, she became the First Indian paddler to reach the third round at the Summer 2020 . Her dedications and determinations have made the India proud many times. She pursue her journey in to play the sport of table tennis.
She is also the Highest ranked female Indian table tennis player from her country. The female Indian star win a historic gold medal in the Commonwealth Games 2018. She is also the top player of table tennis from India at the recent year.
Manica became the youngest in a lot to award in the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award in 2020. She made her first debut and became an inspirations and has aspire everyone to make a table tennis a well know sports in India.
